Roxas Bypass Road

Project Overview

The 4.9-kilometer Roxas Bypass Road will run through Barangay San Antonio, connecting Santiago-Tuguegarao Road with Roxas Paracelis Road. Completed civil works on the bypass road include the construction of 4.44 kilometers of two inner lanes with concrete surfacing, as well as the Baramban Bridge 2, spanning 18 meters. The project also incorporates drainage structures and reinforced concrete box culverts.

Project Impact

Once completed, the bypass road is intended to offer an alternative route for commuters, enhancing capacity by redirecting traffic away from heavily congested areas to alleviate traffic jams. It aims to shorten travel time from Sotero to Poblacion in Roxas, Isabela, from 30 minutes to just 10 minutes.
