Aganan Bridge

Project Overview

The Aganan Bridge Project entails the construction of a 2-lane, 6-span bridge, each span being 30 meters, using PSCG AASHTO Type IVB on a bored pile foundation. It includes 3-span continuous superstructures with sidewalks and railings, fabrication of an additional 3 spans of 30 meters each for span 4, and complete substructures comprising 2-pier abutments and 5 piers, each with 2 columns on bored pile foundations, along with abutment and scour protection.

Project Impact

The project will reduce the travel time from the Municipality of Maasin to the Municipalities of Alimodian and San Miguel and the Southern part of Iloilo Province by about 15 minutes.
