Barcelona-Casiguran Road

Project Overview

The 15.47-kilometer Barcelona-Casiguran Road in Sorsogon begins at Polacion Sur, Barcelona, Sorsogon, and extends to St. Lourdes, Barcelona, Sorsogon. It offers the most direct route connecting both municipalities on the eastern and western sides of the province of Sorsogon.

Project Impact

The project brings advantages to businesses, farmers, and residents of both municipalities by easing the transportation of goods to and from them and other municipalities in Sorsogon. It is expected to reduce travel time between Barcelona and Casiguran by approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
