Cabagan Bypass Road

Project Overview

The 1.7-kilometer, four-lane Cabagan Bypass Road traverses Barangays Ngarag, Poblacion, and Ugad in Cabagan, Isabela. This project also involves soft scaping of islands on junctions, installation of roadway lightings, safety/traffic signages and pavement markings. Bike lane and sidewalk are also incorporated in the widened section for additional amenities for the public.

Project Impact

The project will cut travel time between Tuguegarao City in Cagayan and Ilagan City in Isabela by a minimum of 20 minutes, benefiting approximately 15,000 motorists daily. Additionally, it will facilitate easier transport of agricultural and commercial goods from rural areas to key urban economic centers.
