Project Overview

The 15.21 kilometers Camarines Sur Expressway Project encompasses a four-lane roadway with designated lanes for bicycles, alongside a sidewalk integrated with waterway structures. It also includes overpass structures for farm crossings, access roads, drainage systems, slope protection structures, rest areas, and various safety features typical of expressways.

Project Impact

The project would offer an alternative path for drivers heading towards the southern and eastern towns of Camarines Sur, including those bound for Albay and Sorsogon provinces, as well as parts of Mindanao. It's anticipated to reduce the travel duration from San Fernando to Pili significantly, dropping it from 51 minutes to a mere 11 minutes.
