Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX)

Project Overview

The 44.58 km. Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) is a four (4)-lane closed-system tolled expressway connecting CAVITEX and SLEX. The Project will start from the CAVITEX in Kawit, Cavite and end at the SLEX-Mamplasan Interchange in Biñan, Laguna. The Project will have interchanges in 9 locations, namely: Kawit, Daang Hari, Governor’s Drive, Aguinaldo Highway, Silang, Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay, Laguna Blvd., Technopark, and a Toll Barrier before SLEX.

PROJECT IMPACT

The project seeks to align with national development policies by enhancing transportation infrastructure for eco-zones in Cavite and Laguna. It aims to alleviate traffic congestion on heavily traveled routes such as Governor’s Drive, Aguinaldo Highway, and Sta. Rosa Tagaytay Road. Additionally, it aims to boost the competitiveness of Region IV A/CALABARZON as a prime investment destination.
