Chico Karayan Bridge

Project Overview

The 215-meter Chico Karayan Bridge that spans the Chico River, which was partially damaged by Typhoon Lawin in 2016, is finally completed. The bridge connects Nueva Vizcaya - Ifugao - Mountain Province Rd, Bontoc, Mountain Province. THE Chico Karayan Bridge in Bontoc, Mountain Province.

Project Impact

The bridge aims to facilitate easier and safer travel, particularly for communities that

previously had limited access due to river crossings. The project now connects eastern barangays of Mountain Province which makes it more accessible to market centers.
