Datu Paglas-Colombio-Matanao Road

Project Overview

The 23.17-kilometer Datu Paglas - Columbio - Matanao Road project encompasses a road starting from the municipality of Datu Paglas in Maguindanao and extending towards the town of Matanao in Davao del Sur. The project also includes the construction of two bridges, totaling 240 meters in length, to ensure safe and efficient travel across the region.

Project Impact

The project aims to reduce the travel time from Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat to Matanao, Davao del Sur by four hours and ten minutes to only two hours and twenty minutes.

Enhanced inter-regional connectivity and mobility will create better economic opportunities and easier access to government services, thereby improving the lives of residents in the previously remote communities of Central Mindanao, Soccsksargen, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
