Davao City Coastal Road

Project Overview

The 18-kilometer Davao City Coastal Road passes through the coastal lines of Junctions Bago and Talomo, Matina Aplaya, Roxas Avenue, Sta. Ana Wharf, and R.Castillo.

Project Impact

The project is expected to reduce travel time from Davao-Cotabato Road to R. Castillo Avenue by about 30 minutes. It will also function as a bypass road while also providing coastal shore protection and a breakwater. It plays a crucial role in safeguarding the city from sea wave actions, water surges, and shore erosion.
