Estrella Pantaleon Bridge
Project Overview
The 506 linear meters Estrella–Pantaleon Bridge, also known as the Rockwell Bridge, has a width of 21.65 meters, allowing for four lanes of traffic and three-meter sidewalks on each side.
This bridge serves as a link between Estrella Street in Makati and Pantaleon Street in Mandaluyong. It includes a 50.5-meter approach road on Estrella Street, a 66-meter Makati approach bridge consisting of pre-stressed continuous girder, a 146-meter main bridge, and a 243.96-meter approach road on Barangka Drive connecting to Pantaleon Street in Mandaluyong City.
Project Impact
The project is expected is to enhance Metro Manila’s Road transport network capacity efficiency by adding more fixed links (bridges) and routes over the Pasig River. This effort will also strengthen the city's road network resilience against natural disasters like floods and earthquakes. It's projected to handle approximately 50,000 vehicles daily and alleviate congestion on Epifanio delos Santos Avenue by providing an alternative route for traffic flow.
