Iligan City Coastal Road

Project Overview

The 5.37 kilometers, four lanes Iligan City Coastal Road passes through Sta. Filomena and Tambacan barangays in Iligan City. It connects Bayog Island in Hinaplanon to Barangay Santiago. This key infrastructure project is designed to ease traffic congestion along the Misamis Oriental-Ma Cristina Boundary Road, especially within the city center.

Project Impact

The project aims to enhance and extend the local road infrastructure. The expanded highway will facilitate smoother transportation of people, goods, and services, thereby boosting both business activities and tourism. Moreover, it is anticipated to halve the current travel time for commuters.
