Matanao – Padada – Kiblawan Road
Project Overview
The 58.554-kilometer Matanao – Padada – Kiblawan Road expressway starts at Junction Padada, traverse Colonsabac, Datal Fitak, and end at Columbio, Kiblawan in DavaoDel Sur. Four bridges with a total length of 150 meters are also to be constructed.
This road links the provinces of Davao del Sur, Sultan Kudarat, and Maguindanao and would function as an inter-regional linkage among Regions XI, XII, and Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). It would interconnect two (2) national roads the Digos-Makar to General Santos Road and the Makilala Tacurong-Isulan Road.
Project Impact
The project offers the most direct route connecting the three provinces of Davao del Sur,
Sultan Kudarat, and Maguindanao. This road will enhance access for farmers growing rice, corn, coconut, banana, copra, and castor beans, thereby stimulating socioeconomic activities in the region.
