Project Overview

The 39.81-kilometer Nasipit Agusan del Norte Industrial Estate Special Economic Zone (NANIE-SEZ), extends from Sitio Hinandayan to Sitio Minbahandi in Nasipit municipality, ending at the border between Region 13 and Region 10 in Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental.

Project Impact

The access road project aims to connect the 62-hectare NANIE-SEZ to key trade points and nearby market centers through an effective road infrastructure network. These include the Port of Nasipit, just 100 meters away; Bancasi Airport, approximately a 30 minute drive; and Butuan City proper, 25 kilometers away. Improved accessibility is expected to attract investors to develop the fertile lands within NANIE-SEZ for industrial and commercial trade, boosting economic activities in the municipality.
