Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway Pinamucatan Diversion Road

Project Overview

The 19-kilometer bypass road will connect high growth potential areas, such as Pinamucan in Batangas City to Star Tollway. It is composed of two phases. The entire phase 1 of the project is a 10.3 km long which covers building of a 179-meter long bridge that runs across Calumpang river that will connect barangay Tinggay and barangays San Pedro, Dalig, Dumantay, Sampaga, Dumuclay, Sirang Lupa, and Libjo.

The phase 2 is 8.4 kilometers long which starts in Sirang Lupa, San Isidro, Mahabang Dahilig, Tabangao Ambulong, Tabangao Dao, Pinamucan Proper, and exits Pinamucan Ibaba.

Project Impact

The project is aimed to ease traffic congestion from the city to industrial zones and will also contribute to city development.
