Tayabas Bypass Road

Project Overview

The 6.05-kilometer Tayabas bypass road starts at the intersection of Tayabas-Lucban Road in Barangay Lalo (Guanzon) and concludes at the intersection of Tayabas-Mainit Mauban Road in Barangay Mateuna. It traverses through five major creek crossings along its route.

Project Impact

The project's objective is to establish a faster and safer route from Lucena and Tayabas to Sariaya, Candelaria, and San Juan, Batangas, cutting travel time by about 20 to 30 minutes during peak hours. Furthermore, it aims to attract more investments to Tayabas, especially in less developed areas along the bypass road.
